Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree relieving Ashot Kocharyan from the position of Armenian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Lebanon.
With another decree signed by the President, Samvel Mkrtchyan was appointed as Armenian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Lebanon.
In recent years, Samvel Mkrtchyan was the head of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arms Control and International Security, and before that he was Armenia’s Ambassador to NATO.
