Yerevan /Mediamax/. The U.S.-Armenian cooperation in defense sector has consistently been developing over the past 17 years.

This was stated by Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan, who received newly-appointed U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy on March 11.

According to the Armenian MoD, Minister Tonoyan expressed conviction that the ongoing programs within the frames of the cooperation will continue to be implemented, and new projects will be initiated.

The sides also discussed issues relating regional security, settlement of NK conflict, as well as Armenia’s humanitarian mission in Syria.
