First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan said today that "before making a decision to use a new way of ceasefire violation, the leadership of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces didn’t take efforts to calculate whether the loss associated with the helicopter attack will exceed the military superiority expected for the moment”.

“By 'associated loss I mean the Armenian forces’ possible response actions and of course, the risk of the failure of the negotiation process and cancellation of efforts toward strengthening the ceasefire.

As the parties’ large-scale military exercises and flights of air force along the frontline were not at all new, it is the Azerbaijani leadership that is responsible for the new reality”, said Davit Tonoyan.
