Today we live in a society, which can not imagine life without expressing views on social media. Probably it does have certain advantages. Nevertheless, many participants of active discussions have already forgotten or do not even know about the developments, which unfolded in Armenia 5, 10 or 15 years ago.
To fill the gap Mediamax presents 5/10/15 project, which introduce developments in Armenia 5, 10 and 15 years ago.

World Bank is displeased
On July 8 Head of World Bank Yerevan Office Roger Robinson stated that the bank was displeased with the situation over Armenian Power Grids CJSC.
Robinson noted that the government of Armenia had not made any statements yet which could shed light upon the reports that the subsidiary of Russian RAO UES Company had bought the Armenian Power Grids CJSC.
According to Robinson, WB “is trying to find out what the real situation is.”

“The power grids are one of the biggest profitable branches of Armenia, strategically important for every Armenian. And I believe that it is necessary that someone make a public, transparent and official statement about what happens,” said Roger Robinson.
On the same day Spokeswoman of Armenian Power Grids CJSC Margarita Grigorian again refuted the reports that the company had been bought by Russian RAO UES Company. She said in her exclusive interview with Mediamax that “the management of Armenian Power Grids CJSC has been handed over to Dutch Interenergo BB, an enterprise making part of Russian RAO UES Company”. According to her, the matter did not concern the sale of the company.

“Not now”
On July 9 Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov stated that “granting a status to Nagorno Karabakh is not the issue that should be settled now.”
“Azerbaijan has quite a constructive approach. First off, the servicemen of both parties must be withdrawn, the displaced persons must be returned home and the roads must open. Next, all ties should be re-established. To do it, all Armenian servicemen must be withdrawn from the seven occupied regions around Nagorno-Karabakh. After that, Azerbaijan will allow to open all roads and communications. We will try to gradually form normal relations in the region,” said Mammadyarov.

“Both the Co-Chairs and the Azerbaijani side take steps to this end. It’s time that the Armenian party took steps. I am sure it will happen sooner or later,” added the Azerbaijani FM.
