Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia will get arms at domestic Russian prices.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in Yerevan on December 2 that the relevant agreement was reached as a result of Armenian-Russian talks, Mediamax reports.

He also noted that Russia cancels 35% export duty for oil products for Armenia. As for Russian natural gas, it will cost USD189 per 1 thousand cubic meters for Armenia.

“We would very much like that the blood of Armenian and Azerbaijani citizens never be shed in this region adjacent to the Russian borders and having close relations with Russian Federation”, said Vladimir Putin.

The Russian leader called the talks on what steps Russia will take up if war starts “absolutely counter-productive”. “Such talks may create an impression that we are getting ready for war while we should strive to settle all the disputable issues solely through political and diplomatic methods", noted Putin.

Russia hails restored direct negotiations between Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders and will contribute to the peace process in every way possible within OSCE Minsk Group, concluded the Russian President.
