Yerevan /Mediamax/. The number of training places allocated for Armenian military servicemen in the British Military Advisory and Training Team (BMATT) located in the city of Vyskov in Czech Republic will increase.

The agreement was reached during the working visit of the Armenian delegation headed by First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan to the British Military Advisory and Training Team, Mediamax reports.

Armenian military servicemen have been taking part in the courses of junior commanders, instructors, fire training and peacekeeping operations conducted in the BMATT since 2002.

About 170 Armenian sergeants and officers who studied in BMATT currently serve in various subdivisions of the Armenian Armed Forces and mostly in the peacekeeping brigade.
