Independent investigative journalist Lindsey Snell, who actively covers the Artsakh conflict and Turkey’s assistance to terrorist organizations, has created a website to publish her articles freely.
Snell has disclosed she was motivated to create a website after Facebook banned her for a month for posting a news video she filmed in Qandil. According to her, the group she filmed was “listed as a terrorist organization to appease Turkey”.
The website is called www.ishgal.com.
“Işgal” means “military invasion” or “occupation” in Turkish.
In 2020, Mediamax reporter met with Lindsey Snell in Yerevan and talked about her reports on terrorism.
She was among the first journalists to reveal that terrorist mercenaries hired by Turkey were fighting in the Artsakh war in 2020. She consistently reported about the mercenaries throughout the war.
“The site is not just about Turkish occupations, though there’d be enough material for one,” Snell commented.
