Pope Francis will visit Armenia by the invitation of His Holiness Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Armenian government.

Mediamax reminds that Pope John Paul II visited Armenia in 2001, when Armenia celebrated the 1700th anniversary of adoption of Christianity.
