Yerevan, Mediamax. U.S. President-elect Donald Trump had “heard many good things about Ilham Aliyev”.

Azerbaijani presidential press service reports that Donald Trump said this in a telephone conversation with Ilham Aliyev on November 17. The conversation was initiated by Aliyev who congratulated Trump on his victory in the presidential election.

“President Ilham Aliyev pointed out that Azerbaijan and the U.S. had been developing political and economic ties as well as cooperation in the security sphere and the field of energy security. The two countries have great potential to boost bilateral ties,” TASS quotes Azerbaijani presidential press service.
