Georgia not going to introduce visa regime with Armenia, Armenian Foreign Ministry states

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Georgia is not going to introduce visa regime with Armenia.

“The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told the Embassy of Armenia in Tbilisi that Georgia is not going to introduce visa regime with Armenia”, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tigran Balayan posted on his Twitter page.

 

A number of Armenian and Georgian media disseminated information today that Georgia is going to introduce partial visa regime with Armenia starting from September 2014. According to this information, the partial visa regime will be introduced for those Armenian citizens traveling to Georgia for a long-term stay on purposes such as business and education.
