Yerevan /Mediamax/. At a closed voting the Armenian National Assembly elected Vahagn Khachaturyan as president of Armenia.
A total of 71 out of 107 deputies participated in the second round of the voting. They all backed his candidacy.
Armenia and I Have Honor factions did not participate in either the discussion or in the voting.
Vahagn Khachaturyan’s candidacy has been nominated by Civil Contract faction deputies.
