Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Armenia and its people have gone through a difficult period in their history, and the Prime Minister of Armenia was forced to make very difficult decisions,” Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today.
Addressing the summit of the leaders of CSTO member stated, held remotely, Putin said in particular:
“Indeed, Armenia and the Armenian people have gone through a very difficult period in their history, and the Prime Minister of Armenia was forced to make decisions that were very difficult, but necessary for the people of Armenia.”
The Russian President has underlined that “it required great personal courage” from Nikol Pashinyan to make those decisions.
“It is obvious. Everyone present at today’s meeting understands the degree of responsibility, which the person takes while making decisions of this kind. He took this responsibility upon himself,” Putin said. He has added that the task of the CSTO colleagues is to assist the Armenian Prime Minister and his team with establishing a peaceful life, achieving the implementation of all decisions and helping people, who found themselves in a difficult situation.
