Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Defense Ministry’s Spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan has stated that despite the new ceasefire agreement reached in the United States, Azerbaijani forces have launched an attack against a military unit of Artsakh Defense Army in the southeastern sector of the frontline and continued shelling civilian settlements.
“In particular, at around 13:50, Azerbaijan fired a Smerch missile in the direction of Zardarashen village of Martuni region.
Defense Army of Artsakh is waging defensive battles to stop the attacks of the enemy forces and throw them back to their starting positions,” said Shushan Stepanyan.
