Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has stated that “Turkey’s actions are aimed at pushing Russia out of Couth Caucasus.”
“I am certain we have been unable to implement the Moscow agreement because some forces are hindering it – primarily Turkey.
Turkey’s actions are aimed at pushing Russia out of Couth Caucasus. The Moscow statement was made at the initiative of the Russian President. Some forces, Turkey particularly, want Russia’s initiative to fail. That way they hope to undermine Russia’s authority in Couth Caucasus,” Pashinyan said in the interview to TASS.
Touching on the participation of international terrorists in the war, the Prime Minister said:
“The question is how this whole process will develop: will Russia wait for these elements to be transferred to Russian territory? I do not know if the Russian government or the special services are discussing the possibility of launching an anti-terrorist operation right on the spot, in Nagorno-Karabakh. Russia undertook anti-terrorist actions in Syria, which is quite far from Russia, because the actions of Syrian militants and terrorists posed a direct threat to Russia’s national security. According to experts, now the mercenary terrorists are about 80 kilometers away from the Russian borders. This is a completely different situation, and I think Russia has the legitimate right and grounds to react.”
