Yerevan /Mediamax/. The political leadership of Armenia constantly assesses the military situation and the steps conditioned by it, taking into account the possibility of initiating CSTO regulatory processes.
Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has made this statement during a phone conversation with CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas today.
Mnatsakanyan has reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to the implementation of the October 10 joint statement of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Foreign Ministers regarding the ceasefire and the strengthening of ceasefire regime.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has pointed out that Azerbaijan is not fulfilling its obligations and is targeting peaceful settlements throughout Artsakh.
The Armenian FM has stressed that provocative encroachments of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the sovereign territory of Armenia are unacceptable.
Touching on the involvement of mercenary fighters in the war, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has underlined that Azerbaijan’s irreversible tendency of becoming a hotbed of international terrorism is a threat to the CSTO region.
