Yerevan /Mediamax/. On July 21, Artsakh Defense Army held a battalion tactical exercise with combat shooting drills at “Tigranakert” training ground.

It was held in the framework of multistage staff exercises of Artsakh Armed Forces, launched on July 18.

Commander of the Defense Army Levon Mnatsakanyan stated that the military exercise is held in accordance with current and possible regional and geopolitical treats and challenges, taking into account the conclusions made after the April war.

The tactical training was launched in conditions of a conventional attack on the front line, accompanied by artillery fire, as well as intelligence and diversion actions. After the first clash, Defense Army regrouped, created necessary conditions and restored the lost positions by undertaking a counter-attack with the assisting forces.
