Yerevan /Mediamax/. On March 17, around 17:30, army soldier Hovhannes Harutyunyan (born in 1997) was fatally wounded as a result of weapon use violation in one of the military units in southern direction of the NKR Defense Army.

The NKR Defense Army press service also reports that on the same day, around 14:55 pm, solider Artyom Varderesyan (born in 1996) was fatally wounded as a result of shot from Azerbaijani side in one of the northern military units of the Defense Army.

An investigation is being conducted to find out the details of the incident.

According to Defense Army, the ceasefire was violated by the rival for 600 times in the direction of Armenian forces last night on Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line.

Defense Army frontline subdivisions have undertaken targeted punitive actions to suppress the rival attacks.
