Yerevan/Mediamax/. The fact of Turkish President Abdullah Gul's congratulation to Serzh Sargsyan on his re-election as the Armenian President was criticized by the Azerbaijani parliament.
“An opinion is voiced that the congratulation was a sign of politeness. But attention should be paid to the fact no matter how many signs of politeness you make to Armenia they use them to other ends. One shouldn't exacerbate the issue this much. It should be considered from another prospective”, said the speaker Ogtay Asadov at a plenary session today.
Asadov also commented on the stance of a number of international organizations which stated the presidential elections in Armenia were democratic, Trend reports.
"One should be more attentive and careful as in case of lack of final results of the Armenian elections, the international organizations assess them as fair and democratic", he said.
