Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian stated at the NATO headquarters today that if Turkey, a member of the alliance, stops interfering in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, it will allow the parties to maintain the ceasefire and return to talks.
Armen Sarkissian said this during a joint briefing with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
“Unfortunately, a third party is involved in the conflict, which provides not only political and diplomatic but also heavy military support to Azerbaijan. Unfortunately, that country - Turkey - is a member of NATO,” said Armen Sarkissian.
