Yerevan /Mediamax/. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev demands an apology from French President Emmanuel Macron for saying that Syrian militants are being transferred to Azerbaijan to take part in the hostilities.

“We don’t have mercenaries. We have an army made of 100 000 soldiers. I demand that France apologize and show responsibility,” Aliyev said in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV.

It should be noted that besides France, Russia, Iran as well as indirectly United States, have also confirmed the presence of mercenaries.
