Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenia attaches importance to developing ties with Iraq, including Iraqi Kurdistan, in various areas, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has said at the meeting with President of Iraqi Kurdistan Nechirvan Barzani in Davos.
President Sarkissian stated that Armenia closely followed the developments in the Middle East and intended to continue enhancing ties with Iraqi Kurdistan directly in the context of dynamic relations with Iraq.
The parties outlined IT, creative education, tourism and e-management as potential areas of cooperation. Armen Sarkissian noted that Armenia was ready to share its experience in e-management with Kurdistan.
The parties also discussed the prospects of education opportunities for students from Iraq, particularly Iraqi Kurdistan, in Armenian universities.
