Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considers his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin to be "honest and good, even friendly”.

“What is especially valuable is that we have preserved stable relations with Russia. In fact, there are two levels of Armenia-Russia ties: my personal relationship with the Russian leader and the relations between state institutions. The personal relationship with President Putin was established quickly, and I consider it to be honest and good, even friendly, I would say. There are certain issues in the relations between certain institutions, but I am sure they will be solved in the near future,” Pashinyan said in the interview to Russian newspaper Nezavisimaya Gazeta.

“Nothing has changes in Armenia’s relations with Russia. Even if something has, it is a positive change. As I promised, there are no dark corners in our relations and our stance remains the same both in working and public communication, which is a great opportunity to take our relations to a new level. Undoubtedly, Russia is our strategic partner and ally,” noted the Prime Minister.

“We have intensified the relations with the European Union and our Russian colleagues have been informed about it. As we promised, we maintain transparency of relations for our Russian partners,” highlighted Pashinyan.
