Yerevan/Mediamax/. The election victory of Armenia’s ruling coalition at parliamentary elections is credit positive as it “will ensure a degree of political stability and policy continuity,” Bloomberg reports quoting the analysts at Moody’s Investors Service.
The report published in Moody’s Weekly Credit Outlook today says that the challenges for the new Armenian government are the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, and “governmental continuity in light of these sensitivities is positive.”
Armenia is rated Ba2 with a negative outlook at Moody’s, the second best junk rating.
