Yerevan/Mediamax/. Zangezur Copper-Molymbdenum Factory topped the list of Armenian largest taxpayers as of January-December 2012.

As of the year, the company paid taxes at a total amount of AMD 31bln 673mln 302.6 thousand, Mediamax reports.

ArmRosGazprom (AMD 30bln 918mln 098.6thousand) and K-Telecom (VivaCell-MTS) (AMD21bln 672mln 938.1thousand) were the second and third respectively.

The volume of taxes paid to the state budget by 1000 largest taxpayers in 2012 (AMD558.5bln) exceeded the index of 2011 by 15.5% or AMD 74.9bln.

By the volume of mandatory social benefits, Armenian Electric Networks (AMD2bln 446.9mln), ArmRosGazprom (AMD1bln 686mln) and ArmenTel (AMD1bln 460mln) took leading positions in 2012.

By the number of employees, Armenian Electric Networks (7910), ArmRosGazprom (6041) and South-Caucasus Railway (3910) retain the lead.
