Yerevan /Mediamax/. Today, Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan received the head of the Delegation of the International Committee of Red Cross in Armenia, Claire Meytraud.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the procedure of ceasefire declared for humanitarian purposes along the entire Artsakh-Azerbaijani frontline and exchange of prisoners of war, detainees and bodies of dead, with the mediation of the ICRC and in line with the criteria of ICRC. The procedure will be coordinated with the authorities of Artsakh.

Claire Meytraud noted that ICRC is ready to support the handover of the remains of those killed during the hostilities and the simultaneous release of prisoners.
