Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia is not going to request additional supplies of weapons from Russia, since existing weapons are enough to ensure the country’s security.
Ambassador of Armenia to Russia Vardan Toganyan said this in Moscow today, RIA Novosti reports.
“There is no need for additional supplies today,” said the Ambassador, answering the question whether Armenia is going to turn to Russia for additional supplies of weapons due to the aggravation of the situation on the border with Azerbaijan.
“The military-technical with Russia cooperation has been developing all these years, there are obligations and agreements that our ministries are discussing. The orders that have been placed, and what we are expecting as planned, is quite enough to ensure the security of our country. Therefore, we are not talking about additional supplies today,” said Toganyan.
