Yerevan /Mediamax/. The special envoys of Turkey and Armenia appointed for the normalization of relations between the two countries may hold a meeting in the near future.

TASS reports that this was stated by the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara.

“We have appointed special envoys to start the process of normalization of relations. They will hold negotiations in the very near future,” the minister noted, without specifying the details of the upcoming meeting.

Turkey has appointed its former ambassador to the United States Serdar Kilic its special envoy for the normalization of relations with Armenia. Armenia’s special envoy is vice speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan.
