Yerevan /Mediamax/. Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that “Armenia again is taking steps that prove absence of Yerevan to normalize bilateral relations with Baku.”

Azerbaijani MFA said this following the statement issued by the Armenian ministry on the 30th anniversary of Maragha massacres.

“We reject unfounded, illegal and hostile statement of the Armenian MFA and strongly condemn the non-constructive position of the Armenian side at a time when the two countries decided to take steps to normalize relations. This statement by a country that promotes separatism in Azerbaijan, interferes in the internal affairs of another state, by this violating international law and undermining peacebuilding efforts in the region, clearly demonstrates that its real intention is not normalization and peaceful coexistence,” the statement of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan said.
