Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan stated today that Armenia will make all its efforts to successfully realize its presidency at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in 2013.
Edward Nalbandyan stated this during a conference on the start of Armenia - Council of Europe Action Plan for 2012-2014 in Yerevan today, Mediamax reports.
"In May 2013, Armenia will assume the presidency at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. It's a great honor and responsibility for us and we will do our best to successfully fulfill the presidency", said the Foreign Minister.
Edward Nalbandyan noted that the implementation of the new Action Plan is important for Yerevan as it reflects the priorities in the plan and is aimed at supporting Armenia on the way of reforms.
According to the Armenian FM, Armenia's cooperation with the European structures yielded significant results. He noted that Armenia hails the cooperation of the Council of Europe and European Union in implementing reforms and strengthening democracy.
