Yerevan /Mediamax. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated today that resignation is not on his agenda.

During an online press conference, the Prime Minister has noted that his agenda today is to ensure Armenia’s security and stability.

Nikol Pashinyan has remarked that he rules out violence against the opposition and “if the opposition also rules out violence, then we can jointly discuss the ways out of this situation.”

“There is no doubt that I am the number one responsible for what has happened. I realize that I have to stand before the people’s trial, so to say, but the people need to know all details to draw correct conclusions,” he said.

Touching on the cause of the war, Nikol Pashinyan has stated that “as of May 2018, the essence of the negotiation process was the handover of the territories in exchange for nothing.”

“My policy has been to disagree with that process and to try to change it. Unfortunately, we have failed to do so because of the international consensus that the territories should be handed over without preconditions,” said the Prime Minister.

Commenting on the course of the war, Nikol Pashinyan has observed that “we fought and resisted for as long as it made sense to fight and resist.”

The Prime Minister has denied the allegations that “Shushi was handed over.” “No treasonous decisions took place,” he said.
