Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree appointing Grigor Hovhannisyan as Armenia 's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the United States.

By another presidential decree, Grigor Hovhannisian was removed from the position of ambassador of Armenia to Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama.
