Yerevan /Mediamax/. NKR presidential contender Vitally Balasanyan, who has taken the second place at elections, said today that “the incumbent President and his team proved unable to conduct fair elections.”

The presidential contender said in a statement that “the elections were free but unfair,” Mediamax reports.

“I was ready to congratulate the winning candidate after elections, but now I have to recognize the election results with some reservations,” he noted.

“People were under pressure during the whole election campaign and on the election day, and the whole administrative resource was directed to the re-election of the incumbent President. People were under extreme pressure in Kashatakh and Shahumyan settlements. I think I’ve received a good vote in these results and this will become a serious platform for creating a new political structure,” said Vitally Balasanyan.

According to him, the target goal of this structure will be to protect the rights of NKR citizens.
