Yerevan /Mediamax. During a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has spoken about the fundamental importance of international recognition of Artsakh.

According to the Armenian government’s press service, the two leaders have underlined the importance of maintaining peace in the region and further deescalating the situation. Both sides have stressed also the importance of full resumption of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship format.

Nikol Pashinyan and Emanuel Macron have highlighted ensuring the smooth and safe return of tens of thousands of people who have fled their homes in recent weeks, and the preservation of Artsakh’s religious, historical and cultural heritage.
