Yerevan /Mediamax. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has underlined the importance of protecting the cultural heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh during telephone conversations with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
He is quoted in the statement of the EU Foreign Policy Service, referred to by TASS.
Borrell has expressed hope that the cessation of hostilities will allow efforts towards a lasting peaceful settlement of the conflict and stressed EU’s commitment to the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship format.
