Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov today has urged to "stop aggravating the situation around Karabakh.”

“The whipping up of confrontational rhetoric and the hostilities must stop,” Lavrov said.

He has described as “unacceptable” the fact that the fighting continued after the meeting of representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Moscow.

Sergey Lavrov has also noted that Russia is actively working with Yerevan and Baku on a mechanism for ceasefire monitories and he hopes it will be formed soon.
