Yerevan /Mediamax/. Representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan stated today that "at this moment the ceasefire along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is mainly maintained, despite provocations in certain places, to which we have responded.”
“Hours before the ceasefire was declared, the enemy’s actions intensified, but our Armed Forces resisted their advance. In particular, before the ceasefire, small reconnaissance and sabotage groups of Azerbaijani armed forces tried to penetrate the city of Hadrut, but we neutralized those groups. Small battles took place,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan said, adding that the annihilation of subversive groups in Hadrut is almost over at this moment.
Artsrun Hovhannisyan also said that from yesterday to today the enemy has lost about 200 servicemen, 3 UAVs, 4 vehicles.
He added that he has no information as to how long the ceasefire will last.
