Yerevan /Mediamax/. Spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, stated today that Moscow is considering the possibility of holding talks with the participation of foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Moscow and the possible timeframe of that meeting.
“Different action plans are being worked out. By the way, we offered to provide Moscow as a platform to organize the meeting of foreign ministers of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs,” Maria Zakharova said, noting that they conduct consultations on possible dates for starting the talks in this format.
Zakharova also said that the “extremely difficult” situation in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone will be on the agenda of the upcoming October 12 meeting of Armenian and Russian Foreign Ministers in Moscow.
“Russia, both at the national level and within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, consistently takes efforts for the immediate cessation of fire in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone and resumption of the negotiation process,” said Maria Zakharova.
