Yerevan/Mediamax/. Georgian Foreign Ministry is checking reports on the meeting between President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the delegation of Abkhazia in Stepanakert.

Georgian Interpressnews agency reported this today, publishing a photo made at the reception in Stepanakert, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of proclamation of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), which allegedly shows Armenian President with members of the Abkhaz delegation.

Last year Tbilisi made a harsh response to the unofficial meeting between Armenian National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan and Speaker of South Ossetia Parliament Anatoly Bibilov. Armenian Ambassador was invited to Georgian MFA, and his Georgian counterpart in Yerevan expressed his “extreme concern” to Armenian authorities.
