Yerevan /Mediamax/. Today in Yerevan Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias have criticized Turkey’s destabilizing expansionist policy.

According to the Armenian government’s press service, Foreign Minister Dendias has stated that Greece stands in favor of an immediate cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, as violence is not the way to settle the issue.

“Greece and the Greek people stand by the Armenian people in this difficult situation,” he has declared, adding that Greece has condemned the foreign intervention provoking the hostilities and supported the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ call to maintain the ceasefire and resume the talks.

“Armenia attaches importance to continuous strengthening and development of relations with Greece, the value of which is further emphasized in the current difficult regional and geopolitical situation,” said Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan.

Pashinyan and Dendias have described Turkey’s policy as unacceptable and exchanged views on joint actions to counter it.
