Yerevan /Mediamax/. The European Union is ready to back the reform process in Armenia, European Commission Vice-President / EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said at the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on March 9.

The Armenian government’s press service has said that during the meeting in Brussels, “Josep Borrell welcomed the fight against corruption, the ongoing judicial reform and the developments in other spheres”.

The interlocutors touched on the possibility of launching the EU-Armenia visa liberalization talks and exchanged views on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement process. Mr Borrell reaffirmed the EU’s support for the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
