Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said today that his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan’s non-official visit to Batumi on May17-18 “will help deepen relations between the two countries.”
According to him, Georgia plays essential role in the region aiming to develop relations with all its neighbors – Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“We have good relations with all these countries,” he said.
Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan paid a non-official visit to Adjara and had a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili.
The PMs discussed “friendly and good-neighborly relations between the two countries and prospects of development of economic ties,” the Georgian governmental press service reported.
