Hovik Abrahamyan hands over Armenian President’s invitation to visit Yerevan on 2015 April 24 to Iran President

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan handed over Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s invitation to visit the ceremony devoted to the memories of Armenian Genocide victims due in Yerevan on 2015 April 24 to Iran President Hassan Rouhani.

Hovik Abrahamyan handed over the invitation during his meeting at the residence of Iran President, the press service of the Armenian Prime Minister reports.

 

The Armenian PM noted that his official visit to Iran will contribute to Armenia-Iran economic ties and involvement of new investments.

 

“Armenia hails the close and friendly relations formed with Iran which are based on the long-centuries friendship between our peoples.  Armenia-Iran relations are on the highest level and continue developing in the atmosphere of mutual trust. The agreements reached are mainly carried out which bears witness to mutual readiness to deepen current friendly and business ties between our peoples even more”, said Hovik Abrahamyan.

 

Hassan Rouhani noted that Iran is ready to support the initiatives of the Armenian side as well as implementation of joint programs.

 

Hovik Abrahamyan noted that Armenia’s membership to the Eurasian Economic Union allows undertaking the role of a link among the members of the union and foreign business communities. The PM stressed that auspicious conditions are created in Armenia to attract investments.
