Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan today presented some details on the action of resisting Azerbaijani subversive groups in Artsakh on the night of January 19 and morning of January 20.
Seyran Ohanyan said today that the attack of the Azerbaijani subversive groups was stopped by the Armenian subdivision consisting of 9 people, Mediamax reports.
“The common subdivision consisting of 9 people which stood in the position resisted 2 special mission units of Azerbaijan, around 30 people. Isn’t it heroism?", said the Minister.
Seyran Ohanyan said this during his joint visit with founder of IDeA Charitable Foundation Ruben Vardanyan to N20 school after John Kirakosyan in Yerevan today, Mediamax reports.
The pupils presented a musical performance dedicated to the Armenian Army to the guests. At the end of the performance, those present observed a minute silence in memory of junior sergeant Armen Hovhannisyan who was killed during the fight with Azerbaijani subversive groups in Arstakh on the night of Janury 19 and morning of January 20.
