Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the possible role of the European Union in ending the war in Artsakh.
The governmental press service reports that at the meeting with a group of international media representatives, Nikol Pashinyan stated:
“We are trying to put hopes on ourselves and on those countries that have allied commitments to Armenia.
But you are asking me what is going on, and I’m answering you about what is going on. Because what I am saying, the European Union should not do for us, but for itself. If the EU wants to do it, let them do it, if not - then let them not do it. I have to think about the security of Yerevan, Armenia and the Armenian people, the security of Vienna is not in my working logic. But in that case, they should not say later that we did not warn them.
This war started early in Europe. If you fail to notice it, if long-range artillery is not firing there, it does not mean that the war has not started. That war is taking place.”
