Yerevan. /Mediamax/. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Azerbaijan on June 14-16.
At the meeting today in Baku with Minister of Education of Turkey Zia Selcuk, Presidentof Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has said that the laying of the foundation of a new school in Shushi, the construction of which will be financed by Turkey, will be carried out during the visit of the President of Turkey.
Erdogan first stated that he wanted to visit Shushi back on March 31, at the meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States, held via a video conference.
“It is important that Turkic-speaking states continue supporting Azerbaijan also in protection and restoration of Turkic monuments in Karabakh. I hope that soon, after Ramadan, we will visit Shusha, which will become another holiday for us,” he said.
