Yerevan /Mediamax. The villages of Nor Maragha, Nor Aygestan, Nor Seysulan, Nor Karmiravan, Nor Haykajur, Hovtashen and Nor Jraberd in the Martakert region are handed over to Azerbaijan.
The Information Headquarters of Artsakh has stated the handover is done “in compliance with the trilateral statement of Armenia’s Prime Minister and the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan.”
According to the statement, Aghdam region will be returned to Azerbaijan by November 20, 2020.
“According to the Azerbaijani side, the mentioned settlements are located in the Aghdam region,” said the Information Headquarters.
The headquarters’ statement also indicates that “the state has intervened to move the property of more than 2,000 residents of the mentioned villages, provide temporary places of residence and other means.”
