Yerevan /Mediamax/. Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Sergey Lavrov have discussed regional developments following the July clashes on Armenia-Azerbaijan border and the state of affairs in Karabakh peace talks in this context.
In the phone conversation held today, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has underlined the importance of Armenian-Russian cooperation in maintaining regional peace, stability and security.
The Foreign Ministers have also exchanged opinions about the matters of the agenda of Armenian-Russian allied relations.
Today, Sergey Lavrov has met with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, who has arrived in Moscow for an official visit.
