Yerevan /Mediamax/. Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the General Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, has informed Iran’s military attaché Bahman Sadeghin that despite numerous calls of the Armenian side, Azerbaijani forces continue to gather and operate along the Iranian border.

According to Ayvazyan, Azerbaijani army thus uses it as a shield.

“Levon Ayvazyan has once again reminded the Iranian side of the need to move the actions of the Azerbaijani forces to a safe distance from the Iranian border.

He has also stated on behalf of the Artsakh Defense Army that in case the situation in the mentioned area remains unchanged, the Defense Army reserves the right to carry out devastating strikes against the Azerbaijani forces in the area and the Azerbaijani military and political leadership will be responsible for the consequences,” said the Armenian Defense Ministry.
