Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Police of Armenia confirmed the fact of the arrest of Hayk Gevorgyan, responsible for issuing "Haykakan Zhamanak” newspaper, today.
Talking to Mediamax, Deputy Head of the press service of Police Armen Malkhasyan said that Hayk Gevorgyan is suspected of having run down a pedestrian on January 13 and leaving the place of the accident. He is charged under two clauses of Criminal Law.
The pedestrian injured as a result of the running down accident is alive.
