Yerevan /Mediamax/. Chairman of State Science Committee of Ministry of Education Samvel Harutyunyan said today that the issue of providing ground area for the implementation of “Candle” project will be solved within this year.

According to him, the government will make a relevant decision in the near future.

20ha of ground area is expected to be allocated in the outskirts of Abovyan city.

The project is carried out in collaboration with German DESY, Swiss PSI, Stamford’s SLAG centers and Novosibirsk’s Institute of Nuclear Physics.
